The Ontario Institute for Cancer Research Selects Geospiza for Next Generation Genetic Analysis

SEATTLE, Washington – June 17, 2008 – Geospiza, Inc., the market leading developer of genetic analysis software, today announced that Geospiza will be providing its FinchLab™ software to the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research (OICR) to support their next generation research.

In a highly competitive selection process, Geospiza’s FinchLab product was identified as the only out-of-the-box solution to meet OICR’s needs. OICR compared the Geospiza product against a wide range of alternatives, including custom development and internal development. FinchLab’s embedded best practices and speed to deploy will make it possible for the researchers at OICR and their partners to rapidly realize the benefit of their new instruments.
