From Plants to Sequences: A Six-Week College Biology Lab Course
Learn how you can incorporate research into your undergraduate biology course. Dr. David Robinson and Dr. Joann Lau from Bellarmine University will present a student project where students use clone novel genes from plants, sequence the DNA, and publish the sequence in GenBank. This work uses laboratory materials from Bio-Rad and iFinch, a web-based bioinformatic system from Geospiza.
